Why when I win the Showdown in Super Hero's Saga do I not receive my rewards?

I have won 3 times in the Showdown in Super Hero's Saga and not received the Watering Can and Gloves?

I have this issue as well and would like to know what is the solution to getting the awards for the Super Showdown.
