Apple update now loss everything

i have just installed new update on iPad and lost all progress, gold bars and boosters.  I did contact King who advised to remove and reinstall which I did and now it won't connect to Facebook so I contact King and and they advised me to watch a video which I did but still at level 1 with none of my boosters or gold bars.

    Hi Kellie!

    Did you have the game connected to Facebook? If yes then all your progress will be stored there. In most cases all you will have to do then is to start the game on your iPad and click on the blue 'Connect to Facebook' button followed by your login details and your progress will be back.

    Please try switching from WiFi to 3G/4G in order to see if you can get the connection to Facebook back.
