Hi @Annemieke54 the only reasons I can think of are that your game might need updating (look in your app store to see) or that there are connection problems (try logging out then in again?)
If neither of these help I suggest you contact player support from within your game so they can look into it and see what is wrong.
To contact player support, click on the cog wheel in your game and look for the 'help' button, use this to let them know what is wrong 🙂
