Pet Rescue wont fully load

running on Win10/ Chrome both are fully up to date versions.
prior to November, everything worked fine. sometime in November, on initiation, the app does not fully load. I get thru the orange screen ok, get to the next screen and get to the following point (see pic) and everything just stops. no error messages received, just stops doing whatever its doing and goes no further. Tried all the usuals, reboots, clear cache, cookies etc. nothing helps.
Anyone got suggestions for me to try to get the game to load?

Thanks. went thru the process for facebook load (fyi the links to check browser version and browser optimization are broken on that page).
Installed firefox and managed to completely load game. huzzah....Now I am randomly getting the "connect to internet error that everyone else is getting, so at least I am with everyone else now :)
