How do u clear the metal boxes that come out in level 209

In level 209 u see different kind of metal looking boxes...unsure how they work?

misso, these are 'Pet Carriers' that contain the Pets you need to rescue.There are several ways of opening them.You can match them with their colors (in the place of blocks) or you can destroy them with boosters (bombs, rockets and line blasters)The Pets, when released will always go to the top of the column that they were let out of the carrier in, then need to be brought all the way down and rescued.  Below is a more recent recording of Level 209 for you to see how it works.Notice how in this Level there are two Carriers that do not have any blocks the same color, these need to be destroyed with a booster.

You can match them with the same color block to open them up just like a normal block or you can use the line blast booster. Check out this video as a good example:
