Yes, sounds like you´re missing some updates there. Go to your device´s store, App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android or Amazon for Kindle, and install the missing update.
You can change the settings so your tablet will automatically install updates in the future, in order not to be left out on new levels for so long ;-)
