Just a thought. Have you got any anti virus on? If so, can you try disabling it, restart the game and see if it will do it then.
The fact that we haven't come across this before and you are the only one with it, means its probably something stupid rather than the game itself. Something is blocking it, that's why I wondered about the anti virus.
The other thing is, even though you did a whole system restore, android has a "wonderful" feature of remembering past data on your account. I found in the past it still loaded up issues unless its cleared.
Can you look at this article, you need the bit about the play store, clearing cache on the app (and data)

Hi Missy and thank you so much for all these screenshot! I've deleted the ones showing your personal details for privacy reasons (it's a public forum) but I have forwarded the info to our Tech Team.
I was about to reset your progress on the Kingdom account as a quick fix but it says it does not exist?! So that is a bit of a weird issues but don't worry, we'll do our best to help you get your game back. I'll just ask you a little more patience as the team is looking into it.

Hi Missy, I hope you're well.
The Tech team is asking if you could delete the App again, then restart your phone and re-install and film what happens the first time you reopen the App please. That would be extremely helpful as at the moment, we're not able to figure out what the reason is.
