Why are we still having to play grow your pet when it ends pre maturely and you don't always get what you earn and now we can't even reach the help button not working

Why did the grow my pet and earn 50 gold bars end abruptly ?! I had 3 more days to play!

I lost all of the gold bars I earned (41) when the Grow Your Pet ended with 5 hours remaining. What happened?
