As of an hour ago, it's working again. I wish there was a way to get compensated for things like this. Due to this glitch, I lost a champion's race, and will very likely fail to complete a chocolate box. I don't expect much, but some acknowledgement would be nice.
Just another reason I will soon be done with this game. I made one purchase, reluctantly, and everything I bought is almost gone. There's pretty much no way to gain any more boosters now, so in another few days it will be impossible for me to play except to rehash the same level forever.
