It's obviously just aimed at players who are further behind, to get them to keep progressing in the game.It's not a compulsory challenge so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

How did you save your progress on your old phone? If it was facebook/kingdom then just reconnect in app settings on the left. If you didn't save it then it will be lost. Unless you still have your old phone and you can go back and save it and then transfer it.

The language preference is picked up from Facebook so you will need to change your settings there :)

If the game didn't recognise it then you will just have to go back and play it again. You should also check that this level doesn't have any extra targets like bombs or chocolate etc.

When you say locked out, what do you mean? If you have lost your connection to Facebook/Kingdom then just go back in, reconnect and your levels should return. Maybe this thread will help as well: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/lost-your-connection-to-facebook-ios

There should be about 360 levels so head to your app store and check for a game update :)

If you didn't save your game with Facebook or Kingdom then I don't think you can get your progress back. I haven't seen any comments from King to say that saving your game via iCloud will work. Did you save it any other way?

I know that the events are timed but it's normally something like 24/48 hours so maybe this is the reason? Try disconnecting and reconnecting from Facebook/Kingdom and seeing if they return. I don't think there is much you can do if they don't return though.
