There are some really helpful steps in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIYE7aW5jcE My personal recommendation is open up your facebook app and in the settings section, find candy crush under the 'apps' and tap it. This opens up the game and for me it synchronizes perfectly.

It could be a memory issue. If your iPad is full or all of the ram is being used then it can cause the game to crash. Restart your tablet to clear the memory cache, make some speak by deleting stuff if you have too. 

I know that the prizes changed recently so you only get boosters and maybe unlimited lives now. Did you get anything at all? You can go back in and play again I guess if you were knocked off of the throne.

These 2 boosters don't appear in the little pop up screen before the level, remember that. These boosters are in the game screen and can only be used on certain levels. This might be why you don't see them :)

How did you save your game before Joe, with kingdom or facebook? Just go to the app and click in the settings in the bottom left corner and tap the icon for whichever one you were connected with and reconnect from there. This will return your progress.
