I'm pretty sure you should just be able to play the next level from the map I think. Can you post a screenshot of how the game looks, I haven't seen this before.

The boosters are stored within the app information, so the same as if you delete and other app, you lose all of the information that's included in it. So for Candy Crush this means your boosters as well sorry!

It would be helpful if you said what friends list, kingdom or facebook, also what are you playing on, a mobile or computer?

Hey Sandra, what tablet do you have? Make sure you have the latest updates for both the app and the software and then also that you have some free memory as if your tablet is full, any apps will not run smoothly.

Hey, I'm just another player like you, I'm just passing on my thoughts on the issue that's all. I think having a few of each booster is okay, but if you're hoarding them then it almost makes it seem like they will never be used. 

The level difficulty was changed, I'm guessing you were looking at the old version of the level. The new one has orders of 70 like this one. Make the most of the multipliers this like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fh2FPtlkdf0

Is this on Facebook or King.com. If you're on King.com then your map will show either your Facebook friends or other local players depending on how you sync'd the game. 

Do you mean the animal companions or actual in-game boosters? I know there was an issue where players had to play a level again to release the companion but nothing about boosters?

It's a mobile only part of the game. Now and then King have little promotions and you will normally find that they are either on one or the other, facebook or mobile. It's a normal thing.
