I managed to Log in to my Galaxy S5e, by uninstalling the App and downloading it from the Galaxy Store instead of the play store. i am now able to play on both my Tablet (s5e) and my phone now (Pixel 6) on the same account and contune were i left off on both, hope this helps

Seems to me they pushed differnt versions to the Pre Order People that auto installed opposed to what is availbe in the App Store when the release was Live.
