That's rough to not have season pass with your pins, because season pass so far has been the biggest source of pins for me, since I'm at end-of-map. I do have season pass. I don't seem to get many other events anymore, though, so the pins are slow coming in.

Stage 1 is the qualifier. Stage 2 is the first knockout round. Then Stage 3 is the second knockout round, Stage 4 is Final Round 1, Stage 5 is Final Round 2, and Stage 6 is Final Round 3. Their names for the rounds are quite confusing.

I think it makes sense to wait until you have 80 sparks to go for the big chest, since that one gives you a guarantee of a pin you don't have yet. That's obviously the only guaranteed way to eventually get rare pins, so it seems like it's worth it to always wait if you can. And I would think the way to go there is to wait…

@Colleen Companion Welsh you're right not to waste anything on the Star Tournament. I only play when I'm not wasting anything. I do use starting color bombs and striped & wrapped because I have so many of those (almost a thousand of each), I'm not sure what else to do with them, but I never use any other boosters there.…
