You can use your boosters 99% percent of the time, it's just on very few levels some can't be used. If you check the Wiki for the level you'll see in the Strategy section "Boosters do not help you a lot in this level. Do not use them. Hopefully, a good board (with candies allowing you to clear as many jellies as possible)…

That should matter as long as you actively connected your game to either Facebook or Kingdom, your progress will be saved and synced to it. If you did, when you reconnect to that account in the game again from any device, the progress from the point where it was last synced will come up. If there is no back up though there…

Ahhh this, I think they changed the graphics for the hard levels symbol, each one of the levels with those on that I checked says it's a hard level.

It's looks like the sugar drops feature came to an end as it's been removed from the game.There are still other events such as Kimmy's gone fishing and bubblegum hill where you can earn some free boosters though.
