That's one of the biggest design flaws with the wheel, it makes you think you have a 1 in 8 chance of landing on the Jackpot when it reality the odds are way higher.

I don't is fully implemented feature yet by the looks of it. The only thing you can do is make sure your game is connected to Facebook or Kingdom but even then it's no guarantee that you'll be picked.

What level did you reach on your phone? I take it you've already checked the store manually for any updates that you may have missed?

Update version 1.91 is supposedly addressed at resolving this issue. Remember to check in the store manually if you don't have automatic updates enabled.

You can play the game until the very end without ever connecting to Facebook or Kingdom. But doing so means that if anything happens to the locally saved data, without a back up there can be no restoration.

As long as you actively connected your game to a Kingdom account, your progress will be saved and synced to it. If you did, when you reconnect to that account in the game again, the progress from the point where it was last synced will come up. If you didn't, there will be no saved data that can be recovered.
