  • The same level would have got passed without the super charger: A normal double colour bomb combo passes these levels too, but takes a few more turns.

  • They help beat those levels that the game wants you to pass @Deal_One . They also make you waste boosters and gold on those levels the game wants you to pay for to keep the super charger going. I have done some controlled tests on a few episodes in the past which showed that the super charger does not help beat levels.…

  • The idea behind the tokens is probably to give the occasional players who are often stuck on levels the means to get further on in the competition this year. It's psychological trickery. The tokens allow more players to compete for longer and get through more rounds, so that probably increases spending.

  • With 15 million players taking part in these qualifiers I'm not sure how having three or four players with fewer tokens because they wasted them trying to keep up with you will help you in the coming rounds?
