The Super Color Bomb really helps on beating levels.
The same level would have got passed without the super charger: A normal double colour bomb combo passes these levels too, but takes a few more turns.
I've looked through threads and can't find an answer, what causes one to get the super color bomb? I don't seem to get it very often! I'm with you Christine, I don't try to keep it "at all costs" but it's nice to get every now and then!
@christinewupp Two Super Chargers put together make a big difference on beating levels. A couple times they have cleared the level on the first try.
They help beat those levels that the game wants you to pass @Deal_One .
They also make you waste boosters and gold on those levels the game wants you to pay for to keep the super charger going.
I have done some controlled tests on a few episodes in the past which showed that the super charger does not help beat levels. It's an illusion. It helps finish levels more quickly and causes a nice explosion. The graphics are great.
I used them mostly on legendary and nightmare levels. I am currently on a 30 something episode race win streak. They go faster than you think.
How are you already out of UFOs??? You had 900 of them a couple weeks ago!
