I see the stars in the screenshot and I miss them so muchβ¦I miss the scoreβ¦
Anyway my first thought were these were tied to some new event. But seems not. Looks like they replace the skull icons for telling what difficulty level your about to play.
Blue is hard.
Yellow is super hard.
Red is ultra hard.
They're kinda cute. They do seem more personal than the skulls so I like it.

Well, as expected level 10000 was indeed the standout! I gave my full thoughts on it in the breakthrough for level 10000 post, so check it out if you'd like to hear my thoughts.
As for the rest of the levels, there's a couple other notable ones actually! Level 9988 is a monkling boss level with purple candies, and I do feel obligated to point out every time purple candies appear, even if it's semi-consistent now for monkling boss levels. Since none of the other levels use purple candies.
Level 9999 was notable to for being a 5 color level (just adding red to the standard color layout). Which can be kinda brutal since you still have to deal with the standard move count (around 22) and a lot of blockers. Thankfully for me I got a color bomb/coloring candy combo on that level so it wasn't too bad at all
I think that's it for the highlights. Here's to the 10000's and maybe one day we'll break out of the standard move count and utilize purple and blue candies more often.
There goes this game
Well there goes another King game, with the new format obviously to make it more friendly to phone users, completely ignores all of it's laptop users. The whole board doesn't even fit. You have to scroll up and down to even see it all. First Candy Crush did this and now Farm Heros. I love playing all the King games in Facebook on my laptop. I'm sadly very disappointed
