It wasn't easy, but as of this week I am no longer willing to give King any money. I am at level 6437. In the past, I had months when I paid King as much as $50 a month in order to keep playing the game. Recently, I managed to get that down to $10 to $12 a month. I went back to playing a solitaire game I really loved, and now I am playing that most of the time. (It is free, since I own the program.) But now that King has made it more expensive to move out of an unwinnable game, I've decided they need to be punished. Consequently, I won't be paying money to advance out of any game. It has been my experience that if I play a game enough, I manage to win it. That may be that King is allowing me to win it, but even so — no more money to King.
