It is nice to see you join us here. I wonder if you have seen my posts and read my threads since you state that you have seen concerns about these issues in the community. (I write so much here my posts are hard to miss.)

The Spearmint Snowstorm levels are in fact worse than the other boss type events we have seen lately. I have found that some of these levels will not even respond to a double super charger combo or a party popper played as a first move. This may not be intentional but an oversight by the AI programme that now runs Candy Crush. I found that in the previous boss event with the coloured boxes a party popper or double colour bomb combo played as a first move did guarantee success. Not so with Spearmint Snowstorm. Also with the previous boss type levels I found that players near the beginning of the map were getting easier versions (only requiring the coloured boxes to be destroyed, but not the surrounding blockers), so levels appropriate to their level range. With the current Spearmint Snowstorm event I have answered post in this community of players stuck in one of these at level 260!

I often wonder why so few players come here now to complain about these and about other impossible levels. There are in fact some levels in the game now that are mathematically impossible to pass now (I mean the last order does not drop until after all the moves have been used up) and few players complain about these. The sad truth is that we are a dying breed. Most strategic players who used to love the old Candy Crush have left the game and the new players that obviously love the game as it is have been bred and taught to budget their gold bars and accept the fact that gold needs to be spent to pass these levels.

So we need to either adapt to the new Candy Crush, the way the game has changed, or quit.

Every last strategy or skill factor is being written out of the game in the past twelve months. Every aspect of every level and every event is controlled by the AI programme and by King.
