I 💯 agree with you @Lady_Choo 🤗 on the fact that I think this will dissuade the multiple accounts thing from happening and about the fact that the whole point of being here is to help others & each other and to have fun.

With points, I go back & forth. Sometimes I care, sometimes I don't. I don't live by them but I don't mind them when they come in.

The one thing I do think we need to consider is that some players care about the points a whole lot, which I think is perfectly fine. For many, they serve as a motivation to stay around, to post useful and fun stuff, to engage with others. And, for many of them , their rank in the Community is a big deal. ... Since those points are what determine a player's rank in the Community, it seems a little unrealistic to think someone could make some of the new milestones within their life time but I guess we'll have to wait and see what is what once the new system starts being "alive", you know?

I get where the team are coming from. For those doing it purely for the points and creating multiple accounts, its not going to be so easy to do so they won't bother.

Personally...even if I wasn't a game mod...and on other forums where they have level numbers...I don't care, as long as I help people which is the purpose for the community isn't it?

I know not everyone will feel the same but that's my own thoughts 😊

No Idea @Miss_Dani but I like the accepted answer as it shows its the most correct one and most helpful if done properly. Players know the best advice to follow.

the points glitches may be because they are overhauling it, or just vanilla. Who knows 🤷‍♂️

@Nix66 I don't think we get 10 points for each accepted answer anymore. Many of us have not gotten those points for a good week or more now & some have mentioned being told this by a CM (not me, haven't bothered to ask just yet, hehehe).

With old system, we used to get 2pts. for every answer (if one of the first 3 answers in the thread) which stays the same + 10 pts. for every accepted answer (not anymore) + the points corresponding to each of the Badges for "# of accepted answers".

So now we only get the 2pts & the pts. for the badges you described when we achieve them with yes, the new point system.
