When I open Candy Crush Saga, it takes me back to level one and i lose a life. Why and can i fix it?

I am sorry to hear that you are being taken to level 1 and losing a life. Could you please let me know if while taken to level 1 you are still able to see the rest of your level progress or just the level 1 completely?
If only able to see level 1 can you please ensure you are connected to your correct King/Facebook account.
