Well, so it turns out this old leaderboard trick DOES still work. I'd never used it before as I used to be one for sticking to all the rules as set out in the terms and conditions, but I tested it out this morning after seeing your post @MonicaYellow .

I managed to work my way ahead the final round leaderboard by playing offline with a bit of careful time management before the event started and the blue score was counted. So this may explain how some of the All Stars leaderboards had players way ahead at the start (again) in 2026. If I'd tested this out before and hadn't been so intent on sticking to "fair play", I could have competed and won my group. We'll see if those who scored over 510,000 get to the finals. I'll know better next year and use every trick known to me if King don't kick those players out at vetting this year.

Also qualified for the Gold Bars League and went first in Party Booster League as well. 2 tokens left. See ya soon in a few hours for the last league of this event.

I'm participating in "Sweet Leagues" and as of today, in 1st Place! I have been playing Candy Crush since 2013 and am currently on Level 22025. Obviously, I do enjoy playing Candy Crush but would love to have more than four new levels per week introduced. It becomes a problem when trying to compete with others when the new weekly levels run out in the middle of competition and you're forced to play the "Star Tournament" in order to keep playing in a contest. The Star Tournament just isn't the same as far as building up your score because so many of the levels are impossible to complete in one try and therefore it's hard to keep up with a newer player that can just keep playing levels.
