I’m also having the same problem and I have found that it’s happening ever since I updated candy crush. It’s really frustrating that I can’t play and listen to songs at the same time

Hi! I’m adding my voice to the ongoing reports about Candy Crush stopping background audio (music, podcasts, audiobooks, etc.) as soon as the app opens. I’ve confirmed it’s not a device issue and have tried all troubleshooting steps.

Do we have any timeline or update from the studio on when a fix might be released? Many of us like to listen to audiobooks or music while playing, so this has been a big change to the experience.

Same problem. Definitely on CC's side because candy crush friends hasn't changed. I can still listen to podcasts and play at the same time on friends but candy crush changed last week.

I am having the same problem. I always play Amazon Music when I play the game. Yesterday, it stopped playing. The game stops my music playing when I open it. I have Candy Crush Soda Saga on my iPhone too and it doesn't stop the music when I play that game. So it's isolated to Candy Crush Saga only.

I have noticed that as of today my music won’t play in the background anymore I have sound and music turned off in the app and deleted and reinstalled the app with no change.
