I am having this exact same issue on Apple IOS version 26.2.1 and it also started yesterday (2/11/2026). I am on level 20,960 so have also been playing for a while and also listening to Audible for a long time while playing the game. All sounds and music are turned off in Candy Crush (CC). I've turned the sound on and off again repeatedly (this worked in 2024 but isn't working now). I've restarted the phone multiple times. I also deleted CC and reinstalled, which caused me to lose my Melting Season purchase, all to no avail. Audible is working while other games and apps are running. It's only Candy Crush that causes it to stop. I've also checked that both apps are fully up-to-date and then updated my IOS to 26.3 but it made no difference. I really hope it's fixed today. I'm not playing CC since I can't listen to books at the same time. I'm having withdrawal! 🙃

Latest update is causing my Audible book to stop playing when I open Candy crush game. Followed online fixes but think it needs an app bug fix?

I’m also having the same problem and I have found that it’s happening ever since I updated candy crush. It’s really frustrating that I can’t play and listen to songs at the same time
