Just to provide a mathematical breakdown based on consistent scoring throughout the 24 hours. The below table shows the equivalent hours that players have depending on multipliers left and a theoretical scoring rate in order to match someone who has all their multiplier left. So with 5/6 multipliers you would need to outscore someone by just under 10% and this rises to 36% for 3/6 multipliers.

Generally I would also expect players to attempt to maximise their scoring when playing the multiplier token so these figures would be the lower end of the scale of what is required. Based on this I would struggle to see how anyone with less than 5 multipliers left can stand a realistic chance of winning and fair play to anyone who overcomes a disadvantage such as this.

In stage 5, you were competing with 49 players in a 50-player leaderboard.
In the upcoming stage 6 you will compete with 99 players in a 100-player leaderboard. Although there are total 1,000 players left after stage 5, but you are not going to compete with them all, you only need to win YOUR OWN LEADERBOARD.
Difference leaderboards have different winning scores due to different players are grouped into them. The difference can be very HUGE.
For example, how many scores did you get to win the stage 5? The highest score here is over 450K. The lowest score here is less than 50K. This is a huge difference.
The highest score and the lowest score in stage 6 last year are 6.5M and 5.2M respectively. This is a huge difference as well.
Whether You have a chance at winning the stage 6 depending upon the players allocated on your leaderboard.
