Re: 🏆 Melting Season overview: events, tournaments, and dates
I enjoyed saving my friends (Jelly Queen, in particular) from the meltdown, with the bonus of being rewarded a great set of boosters. At the same time I got other rewards by playing the same levels : from upgraded Episode Race (Elite Challenge -40 gold bars per completed episode)+ Choc Boxes and other events held simultaneously, e.g., Don't feed the Troll,

Re: Oh lucky me, my Booster Wheel now has a Party booster
I got the party popper today on my booster wheel too. That 15 minutes of color bomb didn't stay long.
Oh lucky me, my Booster Wheel now has a Party booster
Not so lucky me, look what I got 🥴

What will it take to win All Stars 2026?
Revised 22nd March 2026:
The first three stages are already almost over so this thread should soon be replaced, but for now my advice remains the same:
Here is my view on what players need to do to stand a chance to actually win the ticket to London:
- You will have to save all your multiplier tokens for the final knockout rounds . Anyone using any of their tokens in the first three rounds stands no chance of winning*
- You will have to be able to crush at a speed of three to four episodes per hour during the final knockout rounds
- You will have to be able to crush non-stop for 24 hours from 7th-8th April
- You will also need a lot of luck
Here is why even if you are fast enough and clever enough you will need a lot of luck:
There are probably 10 million or more participants.
There are only 10 places at the live finals.
This means that 9,999,990 players will fail to win any money at all.
So please bear this in mind before you spend any money!
My tips for new players:
First three Qualifier rounds ( Qualifier, Knockout 1 and Knockout 2)
- Play your normal best game in the first three rounds
- Do not play to get first place: It wastes gold, boosters and efforts. Just do enough to get one of the qualifying places.
- Do not spend any money. If you need to spend money to get through the first three rounds you stand no chance of winning the big prize.
- Hang onto all your multiplier tokens as you will need them during the three final knockout rounds.
- If you do find you need to use your tokens in the first three rounds, that's fine if you just want to enjoy the event and see how far you can get. In that case: Enjoy the challenge, but please accept that you won't be able to win any big money. So don't spend any money thinking you might!
Final Knockout rounds 1, 2 and 3
If you make it to the final knockout rounds: Well done!
- Note that you will have to get first place in each one of these rounds, one after the other. This is a huge step up of difficulty from the first three rounds.
- Set a spending budget and stick to it. Don't spend any money during the round itself: If your budget wasn't enough you cannot win!
- Be aware that around a million players reach the first final knockout round every year. You are not "almost there" at this point
Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions and understand them.
If you are not sure of anything in the Terms and Conditions: Come here and ask us.
Good luck everyone!
Enjoy the event!
Notes for advanced players:
(Edited 22nd March 2026): The first three rounds were manipulated by the app with bespoke opponents which meant that either we had to burn tokens or play a specific number or episodes per day of the round. This means that: Late entry strategies may be more of a risk than in previous competitions. I have found that I had to catch up by playing the previous day's episodes as well. In second knockout round 2 this seems to be three episodes per day for most players, though new accounts seem to be getting easier leaderboards.
If you are waiting for the last second chance round to enter the competition be warned: The first set of second chance rounds was brutal (requiring a score of 68,000 in 24 hours to qualify) and the last second chance round is likely to be the same or worse.
Here what I wrote earlier:
The main skill in the first three rounds this year seems to be to keep hold of all your multiplier tokens and avoid hitting the flashing 10x tab by mistake.
According to my recent tests all episodes of Candy Crush I have played at score roughly the same number of blues, about 2000 on average over a range of several episodes. The earlier levels seem to give up fewer blues per episode compared to levels 5000 upwards, but they generally play faster. This may be an effort by King to make the event winnable for all players, but the mid range of levels with more human written levels is still better scoring in my experience despite all of King's efforts to slow us down. Experience still seems to matter.
The limit per level is just 1000 blue candies.
King have streamlined the number of blues that can be crushed per minute: So I have found that if you draw out a level, play to finish it quickly or spend gold on extra moves, the number of blues crushed per minute is roughly the same, so all these strategies will achieve a similar outcome. Anyone finding the few relic levels which can still be exploited might find it no longer worthwhile with the new algorithms (fewer cascades and jelly fish finishing levels). King know exactly how many blues you should have been able to score for the number of levels you passed and the time you spent crushing, because all of this is now tightly controlled by the game and easy for the computers to calculate from player data. I therefore expect that any outliers will either get automatically eliminated during the event or at final vetting.
Good luck everyone!
*Obviously as the multiplier tokens are a new feature none of us have experienced them in All Stars, so it is my best guess.

Re: Crush Play & Show Video - My Thoughts - 🤭 Chapter Eight added
Chapter Seven
Mick rang @QueenB on her mobile, he said both he and John would be away for a day or two the following week. They were going to do a street survey on Candy Crush Saga. He said, letting you know now Queenie so you don't try contacting us, to discuss the Crush Play & Show videos.
QueenB replied saying be careful Mick, don't confirm to anyone you speak to that you work for King, you know what some players can be like. Mick said they would be careful and hoped to speak to QueenB when they had finished.
The following week Mick and John hit the streets, clipboards and pens in hand and looked around for people they thought might play Candy Crush Saga.
They approached a woman sitting on a bench who was drinking a frothy coffee and reading a book. John said, excuse me ma'am, we are doing a survey, have you heard of Candy Crush Saga. The woman looked up saying, no I haven't, is it a new confectionary, bit like candy floss, only crushed, have you got any, I wouldn't mind trying it. Mick said no ma'am it's a game that can be played on a PC or mobile. The woman shook her head, slurped on her coffee and opened her book again.
Next they stopped a man who was passing, asking him the same question, and his reply was, oh what's that a new TV drama, what's it about.
Not really getting anywhere, John and Mick moved on, seeing a young man sitting on a wall flicking away on his phone. Mick said, Oh quick he could be Candy crushing, let's speak to him. So they approached and asked if he was playing CCS. No mate, I do play, but I've just ordered a Bolt cab and the apps playing up and I can't see how close it is, the registration number, or where it's picking me up from. Think I'm going to miss my cab and be late for a very important meeting. Can't talk now this is urgent.
The day carried on in much the same way, with people who had either never heard of CCS, or were too busy to talk.
John and Mick then saw two women having quite a loud conversation, looking at each other's mobiles. They then heard them shouting about what level they were stuck on and blockers. Mick nudged John, quick John seems like we've found two players, so they approached them. Hi ladies we're doing a survey on CCS have you heard of it and do you play.
Both women spun around with such speed, it made both John and Mick jump. Yes we do play CCS, they both shouted and that's what we were discussing, do you work for them. Both Mick and John shouted back NO. They then felt bad for shouting back and Mick said no, sorry didn't mean to shout, no we don't work for them. But we've agreed to take on a couple of days work to do a survey for the company, just for a little bit of extra cash. We've been asked to find out what players think of it.
Both women looked at each other and one replied saying, if you want to know what players think of it you should join the King Community, you don't need to do a street survey. Many players like us comment in the Community giving feedback on certain issues. One issue we're commenting on at present are the amount of overloaded with blockers levels there are. Two King employees John and Mick have been asked if they would do Crush Play & Show videos to show how they are meant to be played.
John and Mick looked at each other, both thinking here we go again. Mick spoke first saying, OK thank you ladies for your time, we'll check out the King Community, but for now Robert and I need to move on. John then said, yes Kevin, think we've done enough for today, thanks ladies hope you get to see what you're waiting for in the Community.
John and Mick ended up sitting on the wall the young man had been on. John said, good he must have got his cab. Mick said think we should order one as well John and get back to the office. I feel like we've just had another meeting with Queenie after speaking to those women. Now Queenie can be loud but wow, nowhere near as loud as those two. That's it for me, what an awful day we've had, not doing this again tomorrow.
John said, when we speak to Queenie again Mick, we'll say we spoke to lots of players who said they loved the game as it is. That every level was fun, relaxing and could normally be completed within the moves given. That should put her off keep asking for Crush Play & Show videos.
John ordered a cab, to take them to a cafe they visit often, close to where they work first. That would give them a chance to unwind, relax and get their story the same for when QueenB asked how they got on.
THE END
