Re: Sweet Cinema changes today
You're probably not going to get the Free Switch back. I did receive a message from one of the moderator, and they said they're working with King to "hopefully" bring the free Switch back. Let's hope it actually happens!

Re: The results are in: What the Valentine qualifiers taught me
I'm shocked that they are testing the x30 token. The x5 one is okay-ish, the x30 is overkill. The outcome of the event is completely dependent on who King assign to your group in every round and how many of them use a token. It's not right when the luck of the draw completely outweighs your own efforts. Furthermore, what's the point of having a 3-day round if the outcome depends on how many players push the 'I win' button in the last 2-3 hours? The whole round is reduced to a 2-hour blitz. It may appeal to late starters, but it's still not right.
I do believe King are testing this as an idea to be used in All-Stars, but I am at a loss as to exactly why they need those tokens. Perhaps the idea is to put one player in each group who will use a token and thus bait or force others to do the same, which will heat up the situation and make the competition more fierce. There have always been people who scored over a million in qualifiers and were proud of it. King are testing their predictive algorithm to single out such players, maybe? Bottom line: those who don't stand a chance in the final round will use their tokens and force those who would otherwise stand a chance to use them too. The outcome will be a lottery.

@sangtre Look for team community. We are very active.
Re: I am seeing friends in my weekly contest again.... anyone else?
Marcus is also on my board this week.
So, in theory, he could win two weekly contests? 😊. Like that would happen. Good example of how fake this contest is.
Valentine’s Cake Quest
I am back at #1 again. Hope it stays that way.
Fake live leaderboard events
I am quite shocked by the findings I am making with the Valentine Cake event. To be fair the official info for this event makes it quite clear that this is not a live leaderboard: No terms and conditions, and the way the information is all phrased is pretty much like other fake events (episode race, weekly contest etc).
But still the way the event masquerades like a mini All Stars makes me quite concerned as to what the real event will look like when it comes.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt this qualifying round is manufactured in some way, though I am no longer sure to what extent we are seeing a response to our own games. Even my account that played hundreds of levels prior to joining is finding it extremely easy to qualify for the knockouts. I wonder now if this is a trial to allocate opponents in a specific manner so that each group has one strong player and three who have effectively stopped playing, which would make it possible for every player to proceed to the knockout phase.
I won't bore you with all the evidence from all five flowers but in short:
All my five flower accounts joined their leaderboard about half an hour into the event, to eliminate any effect of joining time. Those accounts who were stuck and had played few levels have got opponents who are also stuck. After just over one day in each case only one opponent is really hard to catch.
Just how King do it is what I would like to know. How can they know if a player will use their multiplier? How do they know if someone who was stuck won't suddenly take off again and crush episode after episode (like I've done)? And what, if anything, does this tell us for All Stars?
For now I'll conclude that All Stars will be a genuine leaderboard event as always, and that King are merely testing out the mechanics with these fake events. After all, that's exactly what I am doing.
