After playing Alpha Betty for over a year, why does the URL say not secured? What have i done wrong?

The URL says Not securedhttps://care.king.com  etc  what does that mean and how do I fix it?

Hi Peewee, nothing has changed in the game itself. Can I ask which browser you are using? Sometimes if you clear the cache and the cookie for the games, it fixes itself

I am using Windows IE and Edge. It doesn't stop me from playing I just want to always be legal. When I opened the I within a circle it asked if I wanted to manage or clear permissions?

I think it’s just a browser change that’s all... have you tried it on chrome? I will ask the team but pretty sure it’s fine, you could check permissions see what it says ?

There is a choice of manage Website permissions or clear permissions. At 76yrs I have very little computer knowledge, so I don't have a clue what this means or how it would affect my PC.

Hey, don't put yourself down! At 76 you are doing well to be using a pc and I admire you for not thinking its too much. We have an elderly relative that won't even learn how to turn the tv on and sits there staring at a blank screen so I admire you asking for help. I think if you clear permissions it will just ask to confirm them. All it is, it tells you that your website is secure from people taking information from it through the internet. I am 99% sure it is still secure, I know a while back google chrome did the same thing because it was ready for an update. Do you know how to do windows updates? It might just need that. 

If not, if you have access to another browser to see if it says the same, but you might need help from a friend if you're not sure what you are doing. It is really easy though. I always use the google chrome browser as it works better with the games. 

I am going to nudge the team, I don't think the mod saw it earlier, but I will make sure someone does tomorrow to see if there is anything causing it. I am also going to give you a link as to how to clear cache/cookies in edge. They save parts of your game to make it load faster so if there are any errors in a previous game, they will load back up if not cleared. It has pictures on so you cannot go wrong, just keep the link open in another tab while you do what it says

Sorry not only did this not work but it wiped out my progress to level 88 of Alpha betty but the not secured is still there. I printed out and followed the directions slowly &  exactly. I'am so frustrated.  I had surgery on the 8th so I think I will just stop and leave the computer for a couple of days. Thank you so much for trying to help me.

Hi Peewee, if you're playing through King.com, because you wiped your cookies, you just need to log back in again and progress will reappear, don't panic! Sorry to hear you had surgery, hope your recovery is quick

Well I'am back, my grandson was able to get my Alpha betty levels back but the game still indicates insecure and now after a couple of games a page pops up with a Exclamation point in a circle. When I click on it a list of choices are: Select All, Print, Read Aloud. View Source and Inspect Element. All are too technical for my limited knowledge & ability. So I just have to turn off the game and wait until this goes away. I also play Candy Crush and have never had a problem.
