Community Improvement Part.2

Hello my friend @Spinnifix ambassador for Germany!!
I have seen members in the English community using translations to have fun in games. I have also noticed members form the non-english communities translating and participating here such as you have been doing for a long time. I wonder if some multi Community games could be created by members that would teach others how to Translate. Nothing hard and something that all members would be able to participate in.
I also wondered if our CM's would would agree to creating a "Translate" badge that could be earned thru playing. Maybe the badge could carry some points when earned. I know that the studio art department is very busy at this time, but maybe in time something could be done. It seems all of us are very busy at this time both here and in our homes.
Kind regards, Glenn

Hello Glenn!
It sounds interesting. Bumper2019 has already done something like this. Only the translation is not difficult. Everything is there. How should you teach someone. I find it a difficult thing. I will get help. From my CM in German. What do you make of it?

Hi @Spinnifix , in my post (above) I was wanting to play according to the "House rules".
Was thinking of something where we could play in each language community.
This would help all members learn the use of translations and have fun.
I hope you have a great weekend ๐ Glenn

Hi all ๐ I am loving all the thoughts everyone has on different things. The change I would like to see to help players who struggle to get around the community Is to simplify it. These are my thoughts. The front page should list the games the second page the sub categories currently listed on the first page then the 3rd page should have a full scroll down of all discussion and for example when you open the discussion tab a head note saying please scroll down to find a discussion that bests fits your need before staring a new one. That's only 3 moves and they are in. I think it will stop multiple discussion the same just worded different. I also think it will help our players a lot and get them more help. I love being as helpful as I can and it pleases me if a issue gets solved. I will always be active and give my time to the community as the community gives back to me the pleasure of helping wherever I can. Yes it can be demanding at times but that doesn't faze me. Up to now I have found the other game expert superstars and CMs very responsive and helpful. It would be disheartening I suppose if you didn't get responded to after reaching out for help and thats across the board. Wishing you all a starlistic day ๐๐๐๐๐

Hi! Glenn! Now I really understood what you mean. My link should say so. That we have many meanings for a word in German and it is therefore difficult with the translation and to understand it. @Lola_Pop can confirm it. It is a good idea and it would be for that and would be happy to help. Because I am constantly translating, except in the German area! โบ Maybe Lola_pop can explain it to me how to do it. Because I still don't have it very clear in my head. Sorry

IMHO the whole thing needs simplifying. At the moment there are too many links and choices on every single page.
My suggestions would be:
1. Have a landing page where Tiffi walks up and asks if you want to explore or make an account. She either takes you to an appropriate section or waits while you verify.
2. Bubblegum Troll appears to tell you about some of the important rules of the community such as the language requirements. When he is dismissedโฆ
3.Tiffi returns to ask about your visit and; If you just want to have fun she fetches Benny to take you to a fun and off-topic area; If you need support she fetches Mr.Toffee to ask you which game you need help with; If you have an idea or suggestion Odus will ask which game it is for and take you to the ideas section of that game; If you want to discuss a specific game she can lead you to the General discussion for that game.
4. Bennyโs department should be all the off topic and fun areas from each game combined into one section
5. Mr Toffee should ask if it is a specific game or general games you need help with. If it is general, he should lead you to a general support area where you can explore or post your question. If there is a specific game then he should give a choice again of general or a specific level. If it is general again, he should lead you to a general support area for that game. If it is for a specific level you should be able to enter or choose that specific level and be taken to a pre-made topic for that level. That way all the support queries for each level will end up in one place to make it easier for the community management to spot glitches, and also help you see if someone else has the same problem that may have been resolved.
6 For people landing on pages within the community from history or search engines the pages should be simplified. All you need on any page is Tiffi to take you to the top, Benny to take you to fun and off topic, Mr Toffee to take you to support, wise old Odus to take you to Ideas for the game you are currently in and Yeti to take you to the international areas. The leaderboard should be removed as it is no help to anyone except those who know about it. Links to Leaderboards, Points, Badges, Superstars program etc. could still be given prominence in the Off topic / fun area. Hot/Recent topics should only appear once (not at the side and bottom) and should only include Off topic and the game you are currently in.
