I never really took much interest in pop music until the 60s. I did love a lot of Ray Charles' music and listened mainly to pop groups, such as The Four Tops and The Drifters, as well as Jay and the Americans, the Everly Brothers and the Beach Boys. I also lovdd country music. Music tastes certainly date us, don't they?

Yes they do @CassD! I used to listen to country too but more of the modern country.

Hi! Who were your favourite singers? I still play some of my old CDs and tapes and they bring back a lot of memories.

A while ago I was listening to Bobby Vinton. He's songs were great. Did you ever see the movie Where the boys are? I love the way Connie Francis sang that song. I loved Elvis when he sang in his movies. I think Blue Hawaii was my favorite movie.
