The Olympics are over and it's time for the Candy Kingdom to come home with some medals. But Izzy, having some strange interest in the city of Paris, decides to stay behind for one more day before coming back to Lemonade Lake with her family.

If you're wondering why I've kept imagining Denize in Paris, it's because it began when I first thought about her participating in the Paris Fashion Week's 50th anniversary last October and wondering how her Gummy Gala dress would be received there were she to stomp on the runaway. Wanting to see more of how this snaky dragoness dresses up, I then imagined her dressing up once again for the Winter Fashion week that followed. And now with the Paris Olympics, it's clear that she has some strange connection to this city that only I could imagine. And I also find it sentimental wanting to know what would happen if a friendly giant dragoness like her were to come visit France.

No visit to Paris is complete without a visit to its legendary landmark, the Eiffel Tower! While Izzy herself is too tall and heavy to board the elevator up to the top (and she'd draw the unwanted attention of the authorities, not to mention helicopters, if she tried to scale it with her own claws), she's fine settling with posing before it before heading home. But of course, she'd want to do it while dressing up finely once again. So I imagined her wearing a fine lady's dress, a ribbon-studded hat and a parasol to top things off, while posing before the Tower! I would not pass up this opportunity to have be the lady-est she could ever be! Trying to draw where her skirt would end on her serpentine body was not easy, but you'd be satisfied with what I had here.

Oh, and by the way, if you're wondering, Denize only speaks French un peu, only knowing some famous phrases and so on. But I hear that she plans to use the Duolingo mobile app on a family plan with Odus to try and learn the lingo…

Summer may be almost over, but there's one activity I forgot that I think Izzy could enjoy: going camping in the great outdoors! Just think of it: making s'mores would be the best part of the trip for her, because she can start the campfire for everyone to roast the marshmallows on. And I've heard rumors that there's something in her fire can make these marshmallows taste better when they're sandwiched with the other essential parts of s'mores, chocolate bars and graham crackers…

If you plan on making s'mores in a campfire, just imagine how magical and divine they can be when you bring Denize.

Whoa! Did you see Denize turning into a mer-dragon? Chances are, you'd never thought that would be a thing, but people have already imagined this, so here's my take on this hybrid monster!

An updated version of this fan art piece will be coming in October, along with my BTS explanation of how I created it. Hold on to your fins 'till then, and in the meantime, answer the poll below to let me know what you think about it!

After hanging out with Milly the mermaid for a while as a mer-dragon, Denize decides to take a breather on the surface, resting against some rocks on a craggy cliff to talk with Tiffi.

Denize is pleased to tell Tiffi that Milly was someone interesting to hang out with, but she also goes on to say that she still looks forward to getting her legs back and going home back to Lemonade Lake, as the spell used to turn her into a mer-dragon (cast by none other than Stella the Witch from the Bubble Witch series, who also made a cameo appearance in one Candy Crush Saga episode) was designed to wear off after a period of time, and the loss of her legs and half of her ventral scales makes slithering on dry ground not much of an option, a disadvantage she wasn't planning on contending with for a long time.

Here's a third mer-dragon fan art piece that I bill as the final art piece of Part 1 of my Mer-dragon Madness collection: the Gummi Dragons being re-skinned as "Guppi Dragons"!

Note that I intentionally misspelled guppi because it's a pormanteau of guppy and gummi. Guppy is a word for a baby fish, and gummi is what these dragons are made out of! And because they're still gummies, and the famous Swedish Fish are gummies too, that effectively makes these mysterious new cuties half Swedish Fish! Isn't that so sweet?

Part 2 will have its own share of spell-binding mer-dragon art taking place in the Candy Kingdom! Better look forward to seeing it splash down in October!

It's time to take my Dragonpool and Yetirine fan art to the next level and slap them on the front cover of an imagined comic book. Enjoy a mint-condition copy (pun intended) for the cost of 5 gold bars!

From what I've said before, Caramel Comics, the issue publisher and creator of these superheroes, is the Candy Kingdom's own parody of Marvel Comics, and I've gone the extra mile to actually make a parody logo that resembles the Marvel logo, coloring it orange. Since it's hard to actually reproduce from scratch, I used a Marvel logo generator online and digitally traced out its appearance with hand and mouse to paint out the logo, and I did the same with the title logo, which is meant to be evocative of Deadpool and Wolverine, the two superheroes being parodied. With both of these things together, along with the price and issue number indicator, a smashing background and my original fan art of the parody characters, I've managed to cobbled together what should pass as the front cover of an imaginary comic book that anyone would wish were real.

You might be wondering if there are dentists in the Candy Kingdom. Well, Mary the Tooth Fairy happens to be a licensed one, and yes, she's not afraid to give Izzy her periodic dental exam.

If you're wondering how Mary's a dentist, just take a look at the Smiley Seas episode (episode 152), where she's busy inspecting giant human teeth. But when it comes to giving a huge dragon her checkup, she won't get the job done without obtaining more appropriate dentist equipment, and not just the typical dentist outfit that I came up for her here. She has to wear a medical mask and sterile gloves, to ward off any disgusting bacteria (and some unpleasant odors) inside this monster's gaping mouth. And of course, appropriately sized tools that can help her take a good look at and work on the numerous tiny teeth that lie between Denize's jagged lips.

While Mary works inside Denize's mouth, she uses one hand to hold up the upstairs jaw while working on teeth with the other, using both her strength and flight to hold up the jaw. And she used some magic dust (similar to how Novacain is used in dental operations) to shut down her big purple tongue so that it doesn't lick and attack her.

Today marks the global launch of The Elder Scrolls: Castles, the latest installment of Bethesda Softworks' 30-year old high fantasy RPG series The Elder Scrolls, and to celebrate, I whipped up fan art of Denize doing her best cosplay impression as a Dragonborn from the best-selling game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim!

Forgive me for not knowing that Dragonborns, by definition, cannot actually be dragons, but I felt that this was the best way for me to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls on a Year of the Dragon. Another reason why I decided to do this is because I have to remind everyone that Candy Crush Saga is being owned by the same company that owns Bethesda Softworks, a notorious but otherwise notable video game company: Microsoft. Yes,Candy Crush Saga and Elder Scrolls are all part of Microsoft in its push to stay relevant in the console wars.

This picture shows Denize letting out a loud shout, like all Dragonborns can, to unleash spells called thu'um. A famous one is the telekinetic fus ro dah, but I decided to make a sweet parody of it called fudge roll dah, to keep it in the sweet theme of Candy Crush. Better stand back, because you have no idea how powerful a shout like this can be when it comes from the throat of an actual monstrous dragon.

Once again, I've found another sweet parody crossover between Candy Crush Saga and some other popular IP, but this one's a bit of a doozy: Candy Crush Saga meets Borderlands. Yes, the game series that got a movie last month, and is turning 15 this year!

Meet the Bordercandy Belles, Lilize and Tiny Tiffi! They're Denize and Tiffi parodying Borderlands regulars Lilith and Tiny Tina, respectively, and they are hunting for the sweetest Vault in the galaxy on none other than the planet Candora (the planet Pandora in the game series)!

It took some thinking to realize that Denize could be Lilith, because Lilith had pyrokinetic powers as an Eridian siren, which goes well with Izzy's firebreathing. And Tiffi could be Tiny Tina because both are cute young girls who can do cool stuff, not just because their names sound a little similar!

When I saw the Borderlands movie, I came to think of Lilith as a Lara Croft in space with her twin pistols, so I had no problem modifying my earlier art of Denize cosplaying Lara Croft into her being Lilith. But I had to make Tiny Tiffi from scratch, making sure to design her as Tiny Tina appeared in the movie, clothing, accessories and all! And I had her hold up what would have looked like a bunny bomb (but don't worry, it's just a prop) for an added touch.

The Music Season's Music Tournaments are kicking off today, and that means it's time for another cheerleading kit for Denize!

At first, it could be as simple as re-painting one of her earlier kits to reflect the mix of orange, yellow and pink in this contest, as well as putting on the caramel musical note on the bra. But I had to take things one step further and have her make some noise of her own in a musical contest like this: I then added a wireless headset for her to wear so that she could sing while cheering, and also gave her a rattler tambourine for her to hold in her tail to shake like crazy. It's the only one-handed musical instrument that I could think of that could be easy to use right off the top of my head, but I'm sure it'll get the job done.
