I am hoping to take some much needed time off work and relax at home. Maybe fit in a few pub lunches with friends 😁πŸ₯—πŸ˜‹πŸ»

    Hi @Elsa and @Diamond Lim πŸ˜ŠπŸ–

When it's Summer there's nothing better than having a BBQ at the beach with good company. But I will have to wait until the end of the year for Summer here πŸ˜…

@JoJo75durham why not cook them in a nice Summer Salad? I found this for you πŸ˜‰

If this is not to your taste you could either get some eco friendly pest spray from your local gardening store, befriend some birds and invite them to your garden, or pick them out and put them in the compost πŸ˜‰

Maybe someone else knows a home remedy?

Wow, looks like everybody having good times this summer! As for me, there no rest for the weird... err, I mean Weary! Anyway, I've got a lot of work in the yard to do this summer, the garden, weeding, the flower beds, weeding, various fix it projects, weeding. 😝 Here is a picture of one of my fix it projects, being inspected by Mittens.

    @Elsa normal we have 25 a 30°C, but it's about 20°C, cold and a lot of 🌧, didn't see a lot of 🌞.

I like to 🚴, πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ, and when I go to my sisters family πŸš£β€β™‚οΈ on the πŸ• in the Netherlands, last time I was there we went water-skiing.

I will go back on holiday to the Netherlands to catch our own mussels and oysters from the Eastern Scheldt, North Sea, very tasty.

With boat water-skiing, viewing, swimming, etc...

    Over the old bike bridge:

Thanks for the tag @Diamond Lim

Thank you for tagging me @Diamond Lim

Hi @Elsa. We didn't make any plans for this summer, as we should have been attending two family weddings postponed from last year and now, sadly, postponed until 2022. We now plan to take a break in the Scottish Highlands instead.

    Hi @Elsa

Thanks for the chances to get some "Hot" badges... 😎 and for us to be able to share what we will be doing over the Summer. πŸ€— As for me I am still recuperating from being in the hospital and then sent home without medicine that I needed...which has set me back several weeks.😧

When well... my Summer is usually like this

I love the beach and taking hikes...but until I am better, I will be doing this 🀣

@JoJo75durham I don't think I would eat them. When we had them one year, that garden produced the best tomatoes πŸ…, actually the best of everything that we had ever had. We just picked them off and transferred them to a wooded area. Below is one reason I wouldn't eat them besides the ick factor.πŸ˜‰βž‘οΈ It's a little hard to tell which end is which...but I can tell you that the horn is not in their head... it protrudes from their butt. πŸ˜‚

    ‡️

The tomato hornworm is actually the juvenile state of a heavy-bodied moth. This moth ends up having a five-inch wingspan and is known as a hawk moth. It can also be referred to as a sphinx moth. A quick-flying moth, this creature hovers in a manner like a hummingbird and has white stripes or brown spots.

    Kinda cool, I think. 😊

    Thanks @Diamond Lim as always.πŸ’ž
