Oh @Glenn1972 rereading your message just now reminded me of the time that I spent with my grandfather and the things that we used to do. We had a country house in the mountains and my grandparents shared the home with us. Every Saturday night the small area of people would get together and we'd have a large bonfire. We'd bring food to roast over the fire. I remember helping him gather sticks to put the food on. I also remember going fishing with my father. Thanks for sharing and allowing me to share back to you.

You are so right about that @ckmy! Times have changed and sometimes children live so far away that the grandparent doesn't get to see the grandchildren that often. It was a great time when we were able to share moments with our grandparents. Maybe one day it will turn around and go back to some of those days again.

@me6412 don't give it away. Take your son back with you in time and let him see what your life was all about! I am very happily divorced and I've often said that I would remarry him again to have my children and grandchildren. The difference being is that I would have divorced him earlier but I'd do what I had to do just to have my precious children with me. π
