Hello there @BrittGibbs2010 and welcome to our Community!
Are you referring to adding friend via King.com? If you have a gaming account under King.com, simply go to the left hand side toolbar where you can see the "friend" icon, from there you can either add random people as your "friends" or insert your real friend's email under the column "add by email".
If you choose to add random people, you may or may not get accepted. If you add your friend by email, they have to accept your request before they appear in your list.

You can check out this guide as it will help you find your way around King Community. I am so happy that you joined us here. You are going to love the contests, meeting new people who love the game as much as you do. If you have any game questions at all, I am going to add a link here that will open up as an Excel spreadsheet. On the left you will find your game and then scroll across to where you would like to go. For example, do you have a game issue question? Then click on your game Support link. Would you like to meet other game players that play the same game as you? Then click on the Discussions link. Don't forget to check out the current contests for your game for a chance to win some free gold bars for your game.

If you have any questions, please ask any one of the Game Moderators or Hub Moderator @wykoon. To tag them, click the @ symbol and then type out our name. A drop box will appear, click on the correct name your tag should now be showing up in bold or simply click on the "Quote" function right below our message box so we get your notification.

Kindly refer to the step by step guide below to add non-Facebook friends.
- Log in to your king.com account.
- Then select a game with play button and click on that button. You don't need to play the game, just need to ensure that the left hand side toolbar appears and showing the "add friends" feature as per image below.
You may add them via email as per the image above and wait for the party to accept once they log in to their Kingdom acc. via the king.com. OR simply select the random players that appears below the "Add to Favorites" and click on the green icon with a + sign. Once they've accepted, they will appear in your list as shown in the top line where you see Siti Payung and Nicky Cousins (this is a random player that I've accepted) there.
Once they are in your list, you can start sending them lives or request lives from them in your game. However, don't get frustrated if they didn't respond to your request.

If you are playing the game on your desktop etc. there is a 'Social' button in the corner of the game where you can click to Add Friends, Accept Friend Requests and Share your Friend Request Code.
