Hi dear @Anahita_2005 Yes, today is our vegetarian day as Indians but I have failed to observe this day today😅When I came back from the office, I couldn't resist the urge for chili chicken🍗 but I will definitely celebrate this day next year.😜

Here in our country Philippines which is a tropical county, a lot of unique produce and variety of vegetables we plant and harvested here. Children here were introduced early to veggies and not to be picky eaters . We love eating veggies for they are not only delicious but nutritious too.

Here is one example of a dish we commonly cook. PINAKBET- it is an indigenous Filipino dish from the Northern region of the Philippines. it is made of mixed vegetables sauteed in fish or shrimp sauce.. You’ll surely live the taste of it.

Happy International Vegetarian Day!

Although I am not a vegetarian I do love my veggies. This week I made pasta with eggplant, spinach and fresh mushrooms in a red sauce with cheese. That was so yummy!
