I voted for random. My Dachs team is random and we do really well together. While I like the idea of playing with someone I know it then makes me feel like it might be middle-school-ish with picking teams and I'm not into that.

I have the same as you mentioned. I have a great badger team and there are very often boosters and we are done quickly. I am the only one in my family who even plays these games. My family is very small, but the relatives are big and nobody plays these games except me.
