The Olympic torch came within a couple of miles of my little town 🙂 Not the flag I know, but part of it.

@Lady_Choo did you see the person carrying the torch or was it just on TV? When I was a teenager the summer Olympics came to Montreal but who can afford to purchase seats?

Hi @Elsa @Lady_Choo the Olympic torch did a tour in our county, I took my children to see it, was a very special moment. There was the Coca Cola lorry all lit up and quite a show, many years ago. Everyone was so excited to see the Olympic torch down here, streets were lined, it was very special moment. 😍

I didn't as I don't watch them 😁 however I did get to see the actual torch (unlit) . Or one of them as apparently there are several. One of the school staff's husband was involved with it.

@Racoon7 I never have seen that lorry yet lol. Only on tv.

😊The Coca-Cola lorry is far better at Christmas with all the lights on TV @Lady_Choo than having ladies dancing on the top of the truck! It was a huge parade, and things moved very slowly, best thing was seeing the torch (albeit unlit) 🤗
