@wykoon . it is a cardinal. She had 3 babies. I have many places where she could have built a nest but she chose to raise her young right inside the gate leading to the walkway to my back door.

@wykoon - I cannot wait for spring to come and I live in a very nice neighborhood which is about a few minutes walk to Lake Michigan. There is a lighthouse along the lake so I love to walk or take a bike ride there. Since we have access to the lake, I love to sit on the huge rock and listen to waves hitting the rocks. I have not tried fishing yet but I will need to get fishing license first.

@rebelchild - It is not my lighthouse. I have been up there a couple of times during the summer. It belongs to the city historical society π

I really like spring, I love gardening, walking in the woods while picking wild onions, picking snowdrops
