I love all the books written by Nicholas Sparks. These books are typically love stories with a mostly predictable outcome, but they are uplifting. They are typically set in North Carolina. Many of them have been made into movies.

My favourite book is "Diana, Her True Story-in her own words" by Andrew Morton because it is very inspiring and I admire her for being a strong, independent, brave and courageous lady despite facing many challenges. My heart was shattered when I learnt about her tragic death.

Hi @Pounawea thank you for this thread, Happy World Book Day everyone! I don't read much nowadays, but overall during my life I have mostly enjoy fantasy books, one of the first ones that spring to mind was by Enid Blyton.

I later enjoyed novels by Steven King and Tolkien.
