I actively look for contests and events that offer badges so I can add to my collection
I'm a hybrid, I like earning the badges that show I've done something and recognizing this.
But I also enjoy earning them in the community and I'll enter into things or discussions on games I don't play just because there's a badge.....

I remember when I used to be like that ⤵️, one who actively looked for badges... those were the days...😌
These days I only care if the badge if related to an actual competition that actually involves playing the games... some of the "DIY" threads for badges make me feel like there is no inevitable road to becoming a quintessential cat lady! 😣
@Nix66, I'm glad you didn't get discouraged from the badge collection experience, as you call it. I would have flipped a lid had I been you... cause, I mean, really?! 🤦♀️ ⤵️

I think you should have also added the question do you collect badges for the points... I Love collecting badges they are awesome, I enter as many contests as possible to get them and they do show my achievements, but collecting points to get to the next level is a painstakingly SLOW process and especially for someone like me who only plays one game and inch by inch 🦥 collecting badges helps to increase your score. I would love to level up faster and trust me I have done my King Community homework to figure out how and I am doing it the only way I can SLOWLY lol I got some very good and wise advice from @wykoon this is not word for word but basically it was to just play to play and enjoy the ride and the levels will happen. I appreciate the advice but seriously I want a signature and my own choice of avatars... 🥰 I bet you're sorry you asked me the question aren't you 🙃🤣

@bearwithme I have posted this suggestion before but I think you should be able to click on any badge on anyones profile and if it is still an active badge (one you can still achieve) it should take you to that contest... 🥰 that this badge lovers 2 cents worth lol
Below is my current status so as you can see level 4 is within reach but from there to level 5 with playing only one King Game it is almost unattainable and could take years... why of why doesn't King give us realistic goals... thanks for allowing me to vent yet one again lol but in saying all of this I am still here moving at a snail pace 🐌
