I really love the worldwide friendships I've made in the Community and being part of teams whose members encourage and support one another.

Some things I don't like (sorry if you've heard it all before):

    1) When there is a contest involving a lot of screenshots, it would be good for all participants to receive a badge for the effort put in.

    2) The points system - some badges are worth considerably more than others, e.g. making a comment should be low value compared with participating in a contest. Also the number of points required to climb a !even can be offputting.

    3) I believe there need to be clearer rules for some contests, e.g. tiebreaker or first to hit the target.

    4) I have heard that the Ambassadors are to be replaced by a translation programme. Programmes are not human and are only as good as the programmers, because they can't think, feel or have any idea of nuances and idioms - and I've seen some real howlers.

  • I agree the one thing I think needs attention is all the effort we put into posting all these screenshots instead of leaving the ones that dont win out everyone should get a badge at least other then that i love everything and the friendships in this community a face lift would make it more appealing

Thanks to everyone who has already come. Hope that it will be read by the CMs and that changes could be made to it. That would be helpful!!! ๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿค—
  • It has taken me awhile to figure out the navigation on this site as well. I particularly like the idea of keeping all badges in one area with some indicator confirming if they are current and/or still available.

My recommendations are for removing duplication and clutter to the Community Page are as follows:

    • Sort comments in chronological date order with the most recent comments on Page 1 vice the last page. This particular discussion was created in March 2020, and I have been tagged today so I assume there has been recent activity to the discussion. The most recent comments appear to be on Page 6.
    • Have a separate section / tab for all help on levels sorted in numerical order. There may already be one, but I cannot find it without searching for the specific level number
    • Once a post has been made, hide all tagging posts, to remove the clutter from the post and page
    • Remove all posts after 30 days especially if there is no activity or response to the post. Advise players when the post is made that it will be removed in 30 days with an option to reactivate the post if necessary via Community e-mail. Remove automatically if no response from player.
    • Have an automatic cross filter when the subject / topic is entered with a direct link to other similar posts to avoid duplication and clutter
    • Indicator to confirm if someone has already posted to an ongoing discussion with a link to their previous comment with an option to edit and/or add to the initial comment if necessary.

Some of these ideas may have already been suggested or already be in place.

Thanks, have a great day ๐Ÿ˜Š

A lot would have to be sorted and sorted out in order to store everything more clearly. I would like to offer myself to help! I would be happy if my offer help was accepted. ๐Ÿค—

As a long term user for the forum I'd like to respond to some points just so you can see a different view point ๐Ÿ™‚ you raised some good points so I hope that's ok!

Pages are easier to read if the conversation follows on regardless of how many pages imo. Look at how an accepted answer jumps to the top of the page, it messes it up. At least page 6 that post wouldn't appear at the top. Many forums are like this.

Hiding posts after (such as tagging) I don't think can be done automatically and I'm not sure the posts after 30 days could be either. This would put an exceptional amount of work on the CMS that are already incredibly busy. But from the other point of view..this was raised when the community moved from king care. Many of the posts are still valid. Users can come and browse and if they don't want to chat, see older questions with the same question they have, get the answer and go. I'm guilty of doing that on many Tec sites. It would be helpful if players came back and said advice worked though ๐Ÿค”

They also do also merge posts and redirect posts when duplicates happen. If the CMS don't always see them in time, the game mods should be giving the CM a heads up so it can be done. Many of us do this so it shouldn't be a massive problem.

Option to edit later is a good one, I'm not sure if there is a reason for that but I'm sure they will tell us.

They are looking at easier navigation all the time tho, that's why certain things have been tweaked so hopefully it's getting easier..

That's down to the game mod or cm that posts the contest though. The idea is as badges are more exclusive not to make it too easy ,๐Ÿ™‚

The only thing I would like to see is to be able to unfollow certain threads. I've deactivated being notified from all things I've commented on but some things I'm curious to follow up with(for example the 1M badge, see if someone found a new level to get it) and don't want to click in to the appropriate heading, to the proper thread...... Whereas when we were asked about our Zodiac sign, I don't need to be notified of the multiple replies.

In regards to the contests, I don't agree that all should get a badge. Participation doesn't qualify for a trophy. I'm right now trying to do the weekend challenge and being challenged because my score is significantly outside the range of the others. I don't want it if I don't get close. That removes every ounce of challenge. The score is 50550? So if I score 100k I get a badge because I post? Nah. That's absolutely no fun and not a challenge. I come here for the challenges.

Hi @Spinnifix I don't have much to complain about, but there are a few things than could be improved upon. I still find navigating around the community a bit tricky, though I'm improving great a history category where all closed discussions and events ends up. I mss the activity section though.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
