Thanks for making the wish for King to keep Diamond Digger saga. Unfortunately, as you've mentioned, it's all about business and cent (sense). I do hope that the other King's games are appealing enough for you to try it out. 😁😊😁
I can understand about the cut and paste response but sometimes it's necessary to ensure that the information provided to the members here are not distorted but the exact wording from the official announcement.
About your second comment in having the thumbs down reaction, I've also thought of it haha, but then some people may use it too often. Also, it may be hurtful to receive thumb downs for our comment/message.
Anyway, if you have any more questions regarding King's games or about this Community, feel free to ask and we will try our best to answer you.

Thank you for admitting that King games does not care about the players or the games they have come to enjoy playing as a part of their everyday life. I know that King games is not sorry about it as the cookie cutter response says.
To address your comments, I do play other King Games, just wondering for how long as any of them could be next. in fact 2 of the 4 I play are being killed off in 2 weeks.
As for the thumbs down being hurtful to people. If a person has their feelings hurt by a stranger giving them a thumbs down on a comment on a game site, well that is extremely too sensitive.
Well off to play more with Diggy. Much like the close family of a terminal person with days to live I plan to enjoy my last days with Diggy before the virus kills him.

I think applying "business and cent" doesn't necessarily means King do not care about the players as I'm sure they had done the necessary cost and benefits analysis of the game before making their final decision. If they don't care about the players, they could just shut down the game without any official announcement though.

Yes you may be right about people being overly sensitive if they receive "thumbs down" for a comment but not everyone have the same EQ. So I guess not receiving any reaction in your comment/post may be an indicator that no one likes it 🤷♀️🤷♀️.

Yes actually it does mean that in my opinion. The cost of letting a game operate with zero support on a site cost nothing, just let it continue but discontinue player support of it. It would take minimal bandwith and cost nothing. Also refer to my comment below that I made on the main announcement thread. That is a better business decision than King Games current one.
I admit am slightly disappointed by not receiving comments to mypost. However to associate that as meaning nobody likes the game is rather absurd at best. Check youtube and other sites there are walkthroughs for specific levels. On this community page there are many comments in the Diamond Digger page. Some games who are being saved but are not worthy of being saved have far fewer comments on them than Diamond Digger does. Also take into account that most people do not bother to read game community pages. I typically do not as I come to the site to play the games not to socialize, talk about irrelevant nonsense or visit an "artnook" whatever that is I never bothered to visit it so I do not know.
Here is the above mentioned post. It would be a far better application of "business and cent".
How much would King games charge to let people download an unsupported copy of Diamond Digger? We as players could play it as usual minus the player support. King games would make some money off of it whereas now they will make nothing more off of it. That sounds like a win/win compromise to me.
