Here comes Valentine’s Day!
“Nutcracker, when are you going to tell Tiffi how much you love her?” asks Yeti.
“I have to practice what to say to her,” says Nutcracker. “She can’t even remember my name so how can tell her how much I love her?”
What a dilemma! He’s been in love with Tiffi ever since he met her in the Candy Kingdom but she won’t give him the time of day.
“The girls are on the CC Friends Saga path,” says Yeti. “I just came from there and Tiffi is painting. Why don’t you just go buy her a box of chocolates and bring them over to her with your flower.”
Nutcracker has to get up the courage! He will take Yeti’s advice and do it now!
Look at the picture that Tiffi is creating! Who doesn’t love those candies! The three girls are always together and this Valentine’s Day won’t be any different.
Nutcracker sees the girls up ahead but he chickens out. He will feel very hurt if Tiffi asks what his name is again. He’ll come up with an idea before Valentine’s Day and then he can give her the flower and candy.
With that he turns around and walks away. Poor Nutcracker …. So in love but can’t handle anymore rejection.

P.S. The CC Friends Saga studio created the story of Nutcracker being in love with Tiffi but she can't remember his name.

Sorry but I'm a party pooper … Valentine was not part of my culture until a few years ago, when the flower industry decided, there is a new market to make money in. So, I'm a rebel and really don't like or celebrate Valentine's. So, if my hubby comes home with flowers, he can get them over the head. But he won't because he knows that I don't like cut flowers.

Hi @AnguaB I have been reading a lot about cultures around the world and was quite surprised to find out that not all countries celebrate, just like you said. I think the USA is the one country that goes overboard with candy, flowers, cards and going out to eat. Personally I just celebrate by creating animations and at one time writing stories here in the community. You are not a party pooper in my head and heart. You are an honest person and I thank you for sharing.

Ha ha ha...my husband likes to say it's something the greeting card companies came up with.🤣 It didn't take long for jewelry, chocolate, candy, flower and food companies to jump on board.
Some Americans definitely go overboard on Valentine's day. When I was in elementary school many many years ago we would give each other Valentine's day cards to the whole class. They were nothing like a greeting card, just a small note. We all hand made a large envelope/bag type container in class to hang on our desks to put the cards in. That was always fun and exciting for us as young kids. This is the most or only celebration of Valentine's day I ever did.
My boys did something along those lines when they were in elementary school too. They go out to eat at a local restaurant with their girlfriends now but usually do it on the 13th or 15th so it wouldn't be as busy.🤭

Hi @Kerrie you just brought back some of my childhood memories when you wrote about bringing in cards to class. I remember doing that and we brought in an empty shoebox and decorated it. Then we left it on our desk and when we got to school on Valentine’s Day we went around the room putting a card in each box. Those were the fun days!

Omg you guys are taking me back to childhood 😂 I remember making my Valentine's boxes all decorated up for school. I also remember having a list with all my classmates names on it and having to sit down and fill each card out with their names on it. The valentine's parties we had at school was always so fun. But I think I enjoyed making the boxes more then any of it 😍
