With an extremely rare eclipse looming over North America today, I decided to honor it by making one small change to a previous fan art of Tiffi, Hilda and Denize skywatching. The only major change here is that all three of them are wearing special glasses to help them see a similar eclipse also looming over the skies of the Candy Kingdom!

We all know the popular saying that April showers bring May flowers. And Izzy is always prepared for the wettest downpours before the sweeter parts of spring come around!

Her rain gear simply comprises a big violet umbrella, bright green rain boots, and a lemony, yellow rainjacket that covers much of her long, scaly hide, with a hat to go with it all. Due to her dorsal spikes, the jacket is buttoned up from her back to work around them, like her winter jacket. The jacket also covers her long neck for extra protection, a body part that most of my outfits for this character usually doesn't cover.

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the final season of Game of Thrones, and by that time, I happened to come upon the idea of having Denize cosplay as Daenerys Targaryen, after realizing that their names sound quite similar!

This fan art is based on…(spoilers for those of you who haven't seen this series)

…the very last outfit Daenerys wears before being assassinated by Jon Snow…

…and I made great effort to faithfully reproduce the outfit and make it fitting for Denize herself, cape, robe, boots and all.

It's also worth noting that Candy Crush did post a social media image of a parody of Game of Thrones, titled Game of Crush, which happens to be Izzy's favorite TV show.

Spring is always known as the season for some serious cleaning, and Izzy has proven herself to be up to the task.

Denize's prehensile tail effectively functions as a third arm, and this fan art demonstrates how it could be used to help her multitask when it comes to the arduous and seemingly menial ordeal of spring cleaning. As for determining which two tasks I would depict her doing at once, I settled with having her using a vacuum with her hands, which are more dexterously suited for precisely seeking out debris to remove from tight spaces, while her tail keeps a strong and controlled grip on a mop to wipe up floors.

When a Year of the Dragon meets Star Wars, I just cannot help but whip up this fast fan art of Denize being a Jedi!

One other factor that led me to imagine Denize as a Jedi, was her age of 200+, which is a fraction of famous Jedi Master Yoda's age of 900+. I was wondering how much of a force she'd be (pun intended) if she spent a lot of years training as a Jedi!

Though it's apparent that I rushed and made the Jedi art as heavily modified versions of some earlier cosplay art for Denize earlier this year, I did put a lot of thought into her Jedi design nonetheless. First, I designed her tunic to resemble the ones worn by Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi when they faced Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. She also wears a brown robe that is clasped around her back. Her lightsaber is also customized to suit her beastly personality: there are claw-shaped emitters that you'd think would come from a Sith lightsaber, but the rest of the lightsaber hilt is sweetness with a candy-cane painted grip and an inverted lemon drop pommel.

Denize's anatomy also requires a new lightsaber fighting style for herself: because her arms are short and high, they are better used to wield the Force, while having her prehensile tail swing around her lightsaber.

Today's Mother's Day once again in the US. Sure, I've already made fan art of Denize being the mom that she's always been for years, but for this particular year being the Year of the Dragon, I decided to give it one simple update due to its portrait-like look: change the dimensions of the picture so that it would fit that of a standard greeting card!

The actual message of a greeting card is, of course, on the inside, so I went on to make the interior, which is also sized to reflect an actual greeting card. It's very simple and pleasant and very Candy-Crushy!

Happy Mother's Day! No matter your species, you can always be a mom! I hope people can take this free greeting card and present it sweetly to their moms!
