I'm a music teacher. If I won the lottery I would retire and open a no-kill pet shelter/sanctuary. I lost my heart, Gossamer, 3 years ago. He was only 4 months shy of turning 21! His younger sister Maggie died unexpectedly 6 years before that. I got Binx to help keep him young, but she wasn't super friendly with him at 1st, so I also got Sofia. When I lost Gossie, I wanted a kitten to keep the girls young. I found Puma on pet finder. When I met her at her foster mom's house, another kitten was crawling all over me. Turns out the 2 of them, though from different litters, were best friends so I had to get Moxie, too! And that is the story of how this cat lady got her current 4 cats! I grew up with and love dogs as well, but with the 12 hour days I have at work, I'm not home enough for a dog right now.
