I recently updated Blossom Blast on my iPad. Since the update I can't open the game. The icon stays dark and says waiting. It won't let me delete the game either. It's like it's frozen. This has been going on for about 2-3 weeks. The game on my iPhone works fine. HELP!!!!

There are several things you can do if an app won't update on iOS.

Although the thread is for another game the procedures will be the same. I also suggest you start off with doing a complete backup of your iPad - for instance with iCloud - this way you'll be able to restore your mobile data in case you need to do a reset of the iPad.
