Has there been any progress made with blossom blast level 242?

This issue has already come up before, and it was stated that the update would fix the problem with level 242 getting stuck in the tutorial endless loop. But the problem was NOT solved with update. Has any progress been made towards a solution?

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the game app? It should let you get passed it already?
