No messages in Blossom Blast Saga on Firefox, but they are in Chrome

Why would a different browser used to play a game on Facebook show no messages in Firefox and 26 messages in the Chrome?

Mailbox shows "Oh it's empty" in Firefox , but when I load the game in Chrome, the mailbox shows that there are messages. This is ridiculous, the game should play exactly the same way in all browsers, both browsers connect to Facebook in the same way, why should there be a difference only in the mailbox in the game?
